Our family has been associated with the East Coast Karate Institute Family
for four years. ECKI is on e of the best investments of time, money,
and life skills we could have provided for our children. Our two
sons and their dad are enrolled in training and the love it! It's
not just about their black belt ambitions either. We love the staff
- each and every one of them. Master DiPietro and his professional
staff provide a caring, nurturing and supportive environment for their
students, yet self-discipline and respect are expected. East Coast's
karate program is goal oriented with a focus on individual
abilities and accomplishments. In short, every student experiences
his or her own level of success. The training is held in a
comfortable and family friendly environment. We consider our lives
enriched for having the opportunity to know the instructors at East Coast
Karate Institute. In fact, we have proudly referred several friends
and acquaintances to Master DiPietro's program and will continue to do so!

Before I began taking karate (three years ago), I worked out regularly at a
local gym. After a while, I became bored with the same old equipment and
the same dull workout routine. And I hated exercising alone, with my
headset on and another Seinfeld re-run on TV.
Then I discovered T'ang Soo Do at East Coast Karate Institute and my
workouts have never been the same. With their support and encouragement, I
workout harder and longer and am in better shape now than I was in
college. The schedule is flexible and gives me plenty of time with my kids
before going to class. It's amazing how many other working parents train at
ECKI. I have made more friends and have had more fun in the last three
years than I ever had in the many years I spent at the gym.
I
highly recommend ECKI to anyone who is a working mom, but doesn't want to
look like one!

I have three children who have been with ECKI for 4.5 year. I am
absolutely thrilled to see the motivation and self-discipline as a result
of
this program. I can't say enough for the guidance and encouragement of
the
staff. They really make an effort to assess and then promote the
strengths
of my children. My kids have matured so much in this program.
I have found the schedule to be very flexible in accommodating varying
activities and family needs. They are STILL excited to go to their
classes!! All three have a vested interest in continuing to participate
in the program as they move up in belt levels.

Master Michael DiPietro and the staff at East Coast
Karate Institute are the best in the business. He mixes the
discipline of Korean Martial Art of Tang Soo Do with fun and encouraging
exercises that enable every kid to participate. From the youngest
Little Dragon to the oldest of the Black Belts, each student is schooled
in respect for each other and their instructors. The student's
school grades, health and positive mental attitude are important
components in the curriculum. This is not a studio where they are
"selling" black belts. A student from this studio who wears a black
belt has undergone rigorous training and testing to achieve that level.
In competitions - whether it's local, regional, or international - East
Coast's students represent the studio well with their grace in winning and
their dignity in defeat. The studio and instructors are certified by
the World Tang Soo Do Association. Classes for all ages of children
as well as adults are offered 6 days/nights a week.

East Coast Karate has
masterfully developed a stellar martial arts program! They
incorporate purposeful motivational instruction that focuses on excellence
in martial arts training and core values that will follow my children for
the rest of their lives. Honesty, Integrity, Respect, Perseverance and
Indomitable Spirit are not just words for East Coast Karate, "It's a way
of life!". In my opinion, they are second to none!
